Real Girl Style: Feeling Floral

As soon as these TOMS came into my life, I have been wearing them non stop! The  pattern and colors are so bright and cheerful and perfectly on-trend so I’ve been pairing them with just about every bold color in my closet.

And with the warm weather just around the corner, I figured it was a great opportunity to break out two of my favorite closet staples, my chambray shirt, and pink skinnies. It is so nice to feel completely comfortable in a look because you love everything you’re wearing!

    1. Thank you! These are my first pair of TOMS and I am now officially in love with them! Perfect shoe to run around in, instead of a sneaker, and still look cute!

    1. This is my first pair of Toms and definitely not my last! They are so comfortable and there are so any designs/colors I want!

    1. I haven’t tried the TOMS ballet flats yet, but I’m definitely looking forward to getting another pair of this style! I had a little bit of a problem with fit too. I originally was planning on purchasing the olive color, but one size was too large, and the next size down, my toes hung over the edge.

The salesman at Nordstroms told me this is a common problem and they are actually redesigning the shoe with a slightly longer footbed. So far it has only been changed in a few colors, the crochet and the floral (these ones) and when I tried these on, they worked perfectly. He told me they should be updated in the other soon.

I don’t know if it is true for all stores, but he told me that I would want to ask the salesman for boxes with blue dots- indicating they had the updated footbed. Hope this helps!!

  1. I just found your blog, but it’s such a fun, pretty space! This outfit is no exception, I love the hot pink and that pair of patterned TOMS have been on my radar since they first came out. I may have to breakdown and buy them this coming weekend! Such a cute, easy outfit 🙂

    1. These will definitely be wearable into fall! Try pairing them, like I did, with colored jeans and a chambray shirt or, to still keep the feeling of summer, wear them with shorts and a light weight sweater. Hope this helps, and if you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to ask!
