4 Spring Denim Pieces to Wear Now + Later

Spring DenimSpring is officially here but spring weather definitely isn’t. With snow still on the ground you’re not going to be wearing lace blouses or maxi dresses, but one thing you can definitely wear now and wear later is denim!

Here are 4 denim pieces that will get you through the last of the Winter chill and into the warm Spring sunshine…

+ Denim Jacket or Vest
Denim jackets are perfect for spring transitional weather. You may even have a vintage one in the back of your closet. Pull it out now and wear it!

Don’t have a denim jacket yet or want something different? Look for a moto style (think leather jacket-esq) one. Same wearability but with a little more edge.

+ Cropped/Skimmer Jeans– This style can be found in every color & pattern(try camo!) for spring and that’s exactly how you should be wearing it! Choose a pair that hits just a few inches above the ankle and pair them with ankle boots now and flats/sandals/heels when the weather warms up.

Not in the market for new jeans right now? Take your skinnies and fold them up! Just remember to keep them short enough to show your ankle but long enough that you’re not showing leg.

+ Chambray
This season you can find chambray made into just about any style. There are cute dressesskirts, and of course (must-have) shirts, but if you’re looking for something ‘a little different’, why not try chambray jeans. They’re perfect paired with a white tee, flowy scarf, and sandals (like Mandy from In the Fashion Lane wore) for a casual look or more dressed up with espadrille wedges and a gauzy blouse.

+ White Jeans
If I suggested only one thing to buy for spring, it would be white denim. I’ve already professed my love of them numerous times (worn here, here, here) and I keep doing so because I think they’re so versatile in your closet! They can be dressed up or down and always look chic. I mean, what more could you ask for! (this is my go-to pair)
